Tour Description
We have combined two of the most exciting summits in Iceland, Hvannadalshnjúkur as well as Vestri Hnappur, for a wonderful day of ski touring and alpine climbing.
Many guests want to do Hvannadalshnjúkur (Icelands Tallest Summit) but find that they wanted a bit more, as the tallest peak just offers a moderate walking slope That is where Vestri Hnappur comes in. It offers some wonderful alpine climbing that is beginner level and adequate for those with little to no Ice Climbing experience. When we combine both trips, and do it via ski, we are able to accomplish two fantastic summits with a great ski descent from 1800 meters.
