Tour Description
Want to book an ice climbing experience but afraid that you will not be able to do it? We at Ice Pic Journeys know ice climbing is for everyone. From beginner to expert, whatever your level, we have the perfect climbing experience for you.
Our day will start with a basic introduction on how to walk on ice and a basic climbing technique called front pointing. We will combine these two two techniques and start on an easier wall. Once you are confident, we will progress to other walls which will offer various challenges all while traversing a stunning glacial landscape. Throughout your experience we will capture you with our camera as you scale walls and feel great about yourself for being brave and achieving your goals!
After the tour ends, your guide will professionally edit your photos and email them to you within the week. These photos will be the perfect souvenir and memory of your adventure in Iceland!

It was one of my best experiences in a glaciar! I’m from Spain, and usually I do many climbs here. You can enjoy a real tour in a glacier. Not the typical walk around like cows in a farm. I really appreciate people whose live the mountain and share that emotions and take it like yours.
After a short gear check and some introduction for ice axes and crampons we started our personalized glacier expedition! Three and a half hour later i was completely wasted with a huge adrenaline rush in my blood. This journey through the eternal ice was one of my best moment in my life!
We wandered a full day with Mike on (and inside) a glacier and I had the time of my life. It feels good to spend time with someone who loves and knows everything about those massive ice cubes 😀 Cherry on the cake : I was even able to take some shots from inside a moulin!
