Payment policy

All prices are in Icelandic Krona. Prices are guaranteed after full payment has been made. All refunds are made in Icelandic Krona. If the exchange rate has fluctuated between the time of purchase and when the refund is issued this might result in either an increase or decrease in the total amount refunded in your local currency.

Weather and conditions

All our tours are dependent on weather and general conditions. Ice Journey reserves the right to alter itineraries, departure times and or cancel your trip without prior notice with your safety in mind. The tours can be canceled due to safety reasons or other natural conditions, with short notice. In such cases, a full refund is provided.

Cancellations

Ice Pic Journeys reserves the right to always keep a 10% payment fee to cover costs for the booking & rescheduling.

If you must reschedule or cancel the booking, please provide us with 48-hour notice. This way we might be able to resell the seats.

Cancellations received less than 48 hours before tour departure, will not be refunded. This includes bookings made within 48 hours before departure.

If clients cancel their tour more than 48 hours before departure, a 90% refund will be given.

“No Shows” will not be refunded or if the client is not on time before the tour departure.

Ice Pic journeys reserve the right to cancel your trip with your safety in mind.

The tours can be canceled due to safety reasons or other natural conditions, with short notice. In such cases, a 100% refund is provided.

Travel insurance

We recommend all our guests to have insurance. Each guest should buy trip or holiday cancellation insurance in addition to medical, personal and travel insurance.

Liability

The tours are undertaken at the participant’s own risk. Ice Journey holds no responsibility towards them if an accident occurs during a tour that can be traced to their own actions, actions of other participants on the tour or factors outside of human control.

Clothing

All guests should wear appropriate footwear and outdoor clothing. We reserve the right to refuse participation to customers who are dressed inappropriately or with inappropriate footwear since this will put the client’s well-being and safety at risk.

Alcohol and drugs

We receive the right to refuse participation to guests in any activities who we believe are under the influence of alcohol or drugs. In such circumstances no refund shall be given.
