Your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Reykjavík and teach you about the eruptions short yet, extensive history as you make the drive towards the Reykjanes Peninsula. The hike to the volcano is always changing but from start to finish, you will spend an average of 3-4 hours hiking and 4-5 hours experiencing and photographing the eruption. BEHIND THE SCENES
what are our guests saying?
The whole journey into the ice caves and the Falljökull glacier was awesome. Ryan is an excellent guide and very funny. Can’t wait to back to Iceland and do some new journeys and learn more about those places.
Ryan always knows how to pick a good ice cave for photography and he’ll get you at the spot at the right time. I got some of my favorite images from Iceland with him and his professionalism has made all the tours I took with him memorable. Thanks for being such an incredible guide Ryan.
Ryan is a great guy who we enjoyed working with! Even with a special request (a slightly disabled woman) he found us a beautiful accessible ice cave that delighted everyone’s eyes! And all in safety and with a smile, I recommend!
