Please note that Skaftafell is approximately a 4.5-hour drive from Reykjavik, so we recommend staying overnight at a nearby accommodation to ensure you arrive on time.<\/p><p style=\"font-size:14px;line-height:1.6;margin-top:0.5em;margin-bottom:0.5em\"><strong>Drive in 4x4 to Fallj\u00f6kull Glacier<\/strong><br \/>Once everyone has arrived, you\u2019ll board our specially equipped 4x4 vehicle and begin your journey toward Fallj\u00f6kull Glacier. About 10 minutes into the drive, we\u2019ll turn onto an F-Road for a rugged, scenic ride across ancient glacier plains. This leg of the journey takes approximately 20\u201330 minutes. During the drive, your guide will share fascinating stories about the region\u2019s history and geological features, setting the stage for the adventure ahead.<\/p><p style=\"font-size:14px;line-height:1.6;margin-top:0.5em;margin-bottom:0.5em\"><strong>Hike to the Glacier Edge<\/strong><br \/>After reaching the glacier parking area, your guide will provide all necessary gear for the tour. Once everyone is geared up, we\u2019ll embark on a 30-minute hike across relatively flat, yet slightly rocky terrain leading to the edge of the glacier.
