Optional: Pickup/Drop-off out of Reykjavik is available for an additional 130,000 ISK per group and would automatically make it a private tour. Pickup time would be 7am from your accommodation and the duration of the tour would change to approx. 15 hours. This option will be visible once you click ‘continue’ at the checkout.

What an unforgettable experience. I booked a glacier and ice cave hike with Ryan. To be honest, I was leaving with a good mood but no clue on what to expect. Ryan is a very easy-going person, so I felt comfortable with him rightaway. He has a positive energy. He explains Iceland’s geography and history in an easy-to-remember way.
He brought me to the most beautiful spot I have seen in my life. A very special ice cave. This was so special. I always felt safe on the ice thanks to him being around whenever you need a little helping hand. Super professional!
Not only knows Ryan everything there is to know about the country of ice and fire, but on top of that he turns out to be the best photographer. His pictures are epic. If you go to Iceland, it is more than worth the money spending a day, or even several, with him. I will for sure go back and hire him again.
Words cannot describe how fantastic this experience was! We had Mike Reid as our guide, and if we are ever lucky enough to visit Iceland again, we would definitely hire him to do another tour! He was extremely knowledgeable about the area and had top-notch gear for us to use – helmets, ice axes, crampons, etc. Glaciers are dangerous, and Mike always made us feel safe during the experience. He did a good job of gauging our level of physical fitness and doing things with us that were within our capabilities. The pictures he took were amazing and will be something we treasure for a lifetime!
